In our modern society, we are always looking for ways to make meals quick and easy. One way is to plan ahead and use a crock pot. You can place all of the ingredients into the pot, store it in the refrigerator and before you leave in the morning, plug it in. When you come home, your meal will be waiting for you. Brown the hamburger, cook the rice or noodles and stir everything together in the pan. Then, heat thoroughly and serve. It takes about a half hour.
Soups and sandwiches make a great quick meal. You can make the soup the night before and many of the new soups on the market are great to use when you are in a hurry. When you get home, all you have to do is heat it up. Kids even like soup after school for a quick snack. Soup is a quick way for kids to eat healthy and warm up after a long day, yet it is not over filling and they will be able to eat supper.
