CHILI CASSEROLE
1 pound ground beef
½ cup chopped onion
1 can (15 ½ oz) kidney beans, rinse4d and drained
1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
1 can (14 ½ oz) stewed tomatoes
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon pepper
2 cups cooked bow tie pasta
In a skillet, brown beef and onion; drain. Stir in beans, tomato sauce, tomatoes, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Cover and simmer for 5 minutes. Stir in pasta; heat through. YIELD: 6 Servings
COMPANY GREEN BEANS
¼ cup chopped onion
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
4 cups frozen green beans
½ cup water
1 can (16 oz) whole potatoes, drained and quartered
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
3 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
In a skillet, saute onion in butter until tender. Add beans and water; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 8-10 minutes or until beans are tender. Add potatoes and heat through. Drain. Sprinkle with garlic powder and bacon. YIELD: 6 Servings
LIME YOGURT PIE
1 package (3 oz) lime gelatin
2 cartons (6 oz each) key lime pie yogurt
1 carton (8 oz) frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 graham cracker crust (9 inch)
In a bowl, combine gelatin powder and yogurt. Fold in whipped topping. Spread into crust. Refrigerate for at least 20 minutes before serving. YIELD: 6-8 Servings
