Bisquick is easy to use and always makes recipes taste great. Measure your bisquick without sifting. Keep the mix fresh by storing it in an airtight container. Bisquick also makes a great coating for chicken, fish, or pork chops. Just take 2/3 cup of bisquick mix, 1 1/2 teaspoons paprika, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon of pepper. Mix all ingredients together and coat. Be sure to melt about 1 tablespoon of butter into your baking dish and bake at 425 degrees. Here is a simple recipe that is so delicious that it's hard to believe it was so easy.
Cinnamon Bubble Loaf
2 tablespoons of sugar, 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon, 3 1/2 cups original or reduced fat bisquick mix, 1/2 cup milk, 1/3 cup sugar, 3 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 1 egg, and 2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted.
Heat oven to 375 degrees. Grease bottom and sides of loaf pan, 9 X 5 X 3 inches, with shortening or you can spray with cooking spray. Mix 2 tablespoons sugar and the cinnamon; set aside.
Stir Bisquick mix, milk, 1/3 cup sugar, 3 tablespoons butter, the vanilla and egg in medium bowl until soft dough forms. Shape dough into 1 inch balls; roll in cinnamon-sugar. Place dough randomly in pan. Sprinkle with any remaining cinnamon-sugar; drizzle melted butter over dough balls.
Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown. Let stand in pan 10 minutes. Remove from pan to wire rack. Make powdered sugar glaze; drizzle over loaf. Cut into slices. Serve warm.
